A full lace pixie wig crafted in-house from premium South Asian virgin hair. The hair is naturally straight at source, cut into a pixie shape and curl-styled in our Nottingham studio to create the voluminous, textured finish shown in the images. Available in natural black (1B) as standard, with a professional Wella Koleston colour service available as an add-on. Built to your cap size, to your specification.

What it is

Lyra is a full lace wig, a construction where the entire cap is made from lace, allowing the hair to be parted and styled freely in any direction across the full head. Unlike a frontal or closure wig, where lace is limited to a specific zone, a full lace construction gives you complete styling freedom. Wear it as it arrives, push it back off the face, or restyle the curl with water and a light curl cream.

Each unit is hand-crafted to order. Please allow 10 working days for production. If a custom colour is selected, production may extend by one to two additional working days to allow for the colour service.

Cap size guide

To find your cap size, measure the circumference of your head at the widest point — starting at your hairline above the forehead, around the back of the head, and back to the starting point. Use the measurements below to select your size:

• Small — 21" (53.3 cm)
• Medium — 22" (55.9 cm) — fits most head sizes
• Large — 23" (58.4 cm)

Custom colour

Lyra can be professionally coloured in-house using Wella Koleston Perfect before dispatch. All colour work is carried out by our team at our Nottingham studio. The available colour options are:

A note on hair grade

Lyra is crafted from virgin hair, premium, unprocessed human hair that has not been chemically altered at source. Virgin hair sits one level below raw hair on the quality scale and is the most appropriate grade for a short, styled unit of this construction. For a pixie cut where the hair has been cut and heat-styled in-house, virgin hair delivers an excellent, lasting result without the premium cost of raw hair, which is better suited to longer, higher-investment units built for 12 to 24 months of unprocessed wear.

A note on the curl finish

The curl pattern in Lyra is achieved through in-house heat styling rather than being a natural donor curl. This means the curl can be refreshed with water and curl cream between wears, and can also be worn straight if preferred — simply wash, blow dry, and style with a light amount of heat. Because the base hair is virgin and unprocessed, it responds well to both approaches.

Care notes

• Wash every 7 to 10 wears using a sulphate-free shampoo. Use a colour-safe formula if a colour add-on has been selected.
• Apply a moisturising conditioner from mid-length to ends after every wash; rinse with cool water to seal the cuticle.
• To refresh the curl between washes, mist lightly with water and scrunch with a small amount of curl cream. Allow to air dry.
• To wear straight, wash, blow dry, and use a straightening iron at no more than 180°C with a heat protectant applied first.
• Detangle gently using fingers on the curl finish; use a wide-tooth comb when wearing straight.
• Store on a wig stand or in a satin bag when not in use; never folded or compressed.
• Handle the lace carefully. Full lace is very fine; ease it on and off gently rather than pulling from any single point.
